Another Jesus

Updated: Feb 20, 2024

If you disagree with Jesus, you are wrong, not Him.

Galatians 1:8 KJV

(8) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

v Jesus preached the Kingdom of God and instructed everyone else to do the same. Preach what He preached. Signs you are preaching another Jesus---not the Kingdom of God:

§  You identify yourself as a Christian, not a child of God. God identifies you as His child, a kingdom citizen, not a Christian. ---Ephesians 2:19

§  Your life’s hope is going to heaven. God tells us to hope and pray for God’s kingdom to come into us. ---Matthew 6:10

§  You are building the Kingdom of God somewhere out there, destined to arrive in the future. God builds the Kingdom of God within us with our cooperation. ----Luke 17:20-21

§  You do not have a working definition of the Kingdom of God. How could you possibly be building what you cannot identify?

§  You almost exclusively worship (are obedient to Jesus). God sent us the Kingdom of God, and the Godhead each plays a crucial role in our salvation. ---Ephesians 2:22

§  You view salvation as a one-time event requiring little or no further effort on our part. God tells us to work out our salvation (righteous relationship with God) with fear and trembling. ---Philippians 2:12

§  You seek healing, prosperity, Jesus, good works, etc., first. God told us to seek, with fervent violence, His kingdom and righteousness first. ---Matthew 11:12, 6:33

§  You seek your own righteousness obtained by keeping the law. You must pursue God’s righteousness by walking in the love of God.

§  Your entire relationship with God revolves around your knowledge and relationship with the word of God (the Bible). God told us to study the Word of God (Jesus) and the revelation of Him by the Holy Spirit. ---II Timothy 2:15, John 15:26

§  You seek the revelation of knowledge (knowledge kills). God told us to seek the revelation of the Spirit who gives life. ---John 15:26

§  You identify Pentecost as the birthdate of the Ekklesia. God views Pentecost as the day of the release of the Kingdom of God into His followers, who subsequently manifest their destiny as His Ekklesia.

§  The Church is a result of the manifestation of the love of God while we live in the Kingdom of God, and this love will result in a person without spots or wrinkles. A living working partnership with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit gives us the wisdom and power to bring this transformation into our souls.

Jesus spoke of God’s Kingdom about 80 times in the New Testament and the Church twice.

v My working definition of the Kingdom of God is:

§  The Kingdom of God is God’s government based upon the relationship between the king, Father God, the priest, Jesus the Christ, through the administrator or governor, the Holy Spirit, within and with each person
