The good news is the gospel of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 24:14), not Jesus the Christ. Indeed, He was, is, and will always be good news for us, but Jesus is not the gospel's good news. The Kingdom of God is the only structure given by God for our relationship with the Godhead. It is not optional. Jesus is the doorway into God's Kingdom (John 10:9). He came bearing this invaluable gift to us (Matthew 13:44), prepared men's hearts to receive it, and dispensed it into the hearts of those same believers on the day of Pentecost. He also commanded all to preach the good news of the Kingdom's arrival (Mark 16:15).
The only requirement was to receive the gospel's good news, confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Our faith activates God's promises. Repeatedly speaking or professing His promises allows Him to build faith in our hearts (Hebrews 3:1). Having met those requirements, Jesus, by covenant, guaranteed our introduction and relationship with the Father of us all, God the Father.
Publicly confessing our identity as a child of God establishes us as legal citizens of the Kingdom of God and legally entitled to all its provisions. Petitioning the Father in the name of Jesus the Christ ensures the release of those same provisions to us (John 14:12-14).
Any confession of an identity other than being a child of God will not legally release the manifestation of heaven from within us or its resulting display of power and provision.
This relationship with the Godhead is a government called the Kingdom of God backed by a blood covenant agreement guaranteeing the Father's giving us our petition and Prince Jesus (Revelation 1:5-6), our High Priest (Hebrews 4:14), will partner with the Holy Spirit to complete the will of God in our lives.
