Building the Kingdom of God

Building the Kingdom of God

John 5:39-40 AMPC (39) You search and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through them. And these [very Scriptures] testify about Me! (40) And still you are not willing [but refuse] to come to Me, so that you might have life.

Many today do not know the difference between knowing about God and knowing God. If you have been studying the Bible, you will know the scriptures and know about God. If you have been sharing your heart with Him, He will share His heart with you, and you will know Him.

Hebrews 3:1 KJV (1) Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Frequently professing the truths, the Holy Spirit gives us about ourselves, allows Jesus to use that profession to renew our minds and transform our identity. This concept is the process of building the Kingdom of God within us. We are the only temple of God and the unique container for His kingdom. God calls us to bring the Kingdom of God into people, not people into the Kingdom of God. Therefore, pray this way: let thy kingdom come into me, and thy will be done in me, as in heaven.
