Christianity

Christianity is the name the people of Antioch used for those who professed to follow Jesus. The meaning is uncertain, but it is probably a term of derision or mockery. Although God has never used it in any manner, it is commonly used by people today and gives the illusion of a real relationship with God. People who really follow God and are proud of that relationship identify themselves as His children and Him as their Father, as He does for them.
