Entering the Kingdom of God

Matthew 6:33 AMPC (33) But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. (shelter, food, and clothing)

Acts 14:22 AMPC (22) Establishing and strengthening the souls and the hearts of the disciples, urging and warning and encouraging them to stand firm in the faith, and [telling them] that it is through many hardships and tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.

Matthew 11:12 AMPC (12) And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize--a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].

The Kingdom of God is like a free bicycle. It is available because Jesus personally delivered it two thousand years ago to the hearts of many at Pentecost. However, you still have to accept yours and pedal it for it to be helpful to you. The greater the effort, the greater the reward. God promised the bike was to be powerful and effective. Hmmm! I wonder how our nation and our world were overrun by evil. Do you suppose some have not accepted their bicycle or perhaps not pedaling it?
