Following Jesus

Jesus commanded several times for people to follow Him. His next instruction was also very explicit; “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).” He did not say wait; I will return with the kingdom. Nor did He say, watch the kingdom will appear one day in the future. Instead, he said to seek the kingdom today. It will appear within you (Luke 17:21). Until we do our part, He cannot do His part and add all things needed for life and godliness, including food, shelter, and housing, for us (Matthew 6:25-33).
