God's Government Within

Man patterned the kingdoms of this world very similar to the Kingdom of God. The King, Father God, has supreme authority and power in His kingdom. His firstborn Son, Jesus, is usually next in line to become king but cannot be promoted until the Father dies. Of course, God will never die. However, should the Father desire to increase His kingdom and expand His influence, He can send His Son to conquer and claim another country. The Father dispatched Jesus to earth, where He defeated the ruler, Satan, and stripped him of his world power and authority. As a result, Jesus became the king of the earth.

On Pentecost, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to earth as His representative and governor. He was to establish the formation of God's colony by facilitating the construction of the Kingdom of God in the hearts of believers. The primary function of the governor is to change the colony's culture to match the culture of the invading country. Therefore, the Holy Spirit must always communicate with God to implement God's plans daily. It also requires us to commune constantly with the Holy Spirit to renew our minds until transformation occurs.

The first assignment was to transform the first believers into ambassadors to go forth and announce the arrival of this new kingdom and persuade others to join in the reformation of earth into the culture of Heaven. Bringing them together as one and teaching them the new language of Heaven had the highest priority. Operating as one person established them as His official cabinet called His ekklesia. This new language enabled them to communicate directly with the king and understand His speech. Learning the king's language is common worldwide when kings acquire colonies and integrate them into their kingdoms.

As people were born again as children of a king, they were also kings. However, training and maturity must happen before they can rule as kings. No more than one king can be ruler over the same area. Therefore, as long as Jesus was on the earth, no one else would ever be a functioning king. We would have been princes or princesses. But as soon as Jesus left the world, we became kings and priests unto God. Should He ever return, as soon as He touched planet earth, we would again be princes or princesses.

Jesus had completed His assignment and finished everything. When He returned to His Father, He immediately turned His dominion as king over to the Father and assumed His new function as prince of the kings of the earth. His Father is now king of the kings of the world.

The chain of command God has established is that the Holy Spirit lives within us as our representative from the government. First, he reports to Jesus, our prince. Next, Jesus reports to His Father, the king. Following this chain of command, we have direct access to the king. Jesus told us to access the king using His name after He returned to the Father

Our first assignments as kings are to bring the heart of our minds, will, emotions, and bodies into an agreement with God. The Holy Spirit is our assistant and will accept if we offer to partner with Him until we complete this mission.
