God's Kingdom Within and Our Growth

This teaching is for children and citizens who wish to continue advancing in their relationship with God by increasing the influence of the Kingdom within each of us. As the Kingdom influences us, we will increase its impact on the world. God desires that we be willing to mature to the fullest extent possible.

Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV

(6) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

(7) Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

This promise prophesied by Isaiah is one of the most exciting ones concerning the government of God. Isaiah proclaims that the relationship between us and the Kingdom government of God will continue to grow forever. He is not talking about an external Kingdom but the Kingdom within us. However, most today do not know how to proceed and engage with the Godhead to facilitate this growth.

There are three keys the Lord has shown me to open the treasures of the Kingdom of God.

 We must believe in our hearts.

 We must confess with our mouths.

 We must direct our profession to the Father and identify ourselves by using the name of Jesus.

John 16:23-24 KJV

(23) And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

(24) Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Jesus is using the same concept that Paul told us to use to accept Jesus into our hearts. Learning to believe in our hearts is something Jesus taught us at the Lord's supper.

Luke 22:19 KJV

(19) And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Before continuing with this teaching, I wish to clarify this thought. The word "heart" in the Bible does not refer to the thumper in your chest; it relates to the lower portion of the brain, which we now call the subconscious mind. It is translated this way 160 times in the New Testament and 727 times in the Old Testament.

When we hear a new fact, it is recorded permanently in the subconscious mind. When we first recall it, it will come back as knowledge. Frequently recalling and verbally repeating this knowledge to the Father will cause it to become a stronger memory until it becomes our identity. Remembering Him and what He has done for us establishes us in His identity.

When Jesus returned to Heaven, He surrendered the Kingdom of God to His Father as He promised, and His Father became King.

1 Corinthians 15:24 KJV

(24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

1 Corinthians 15:28 KJV

(28) And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

That is why we ask the Father for whatever we need. He is now the supreme ruler of heaven and earth. Jesus has subjected Himself to the Father, becoming a Prince and a Priest unto God.

Revelation 1:5 KJV

(5) And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Accepting Jesus as our Lord and the Lord of our life is much like dwelling in a rental property such as an apartment. Whatever happens to the property is not your responsibility. All responsibility belongs to the owner. Take anything that needs to be fixed or changed in your life to your new owner, Father God. He will always, without hesitation, join you (you must cooperate with Him) to fix the problem.

He has bought and paid for your life and owns all other things because He created them. He does not appreciate anyone taking anything He owns as their property. If you want to own something, you must create it yourself. We are only allowed to use His things. He will not work with you very long if you believe otherwise.
