God's Original Plan

God's plan is unchanged

Earth was God's original colony and kingdom for man, Adam (Genesis 1:26-29). God had given him the earth, suitably located in this universe, for a home. The creator made an environment perfectly furnished with everything needed for life and Godliness, including an earth suit suitable for Adam's environment.

Adam needed one more thing, and that was his wife. God called her Adam also because He had taken a rib from Adam to make the woman (Genesis 5:2). God considered them one person. Although living in separate bodies, each having its unique function and appearance, they were one in their nature with each other and God. Adam (meaning man and woman) was the son of God (Luke 3:38). The expression of God's nature from them is His glory. Therefore, the Lord had covered them with His glory.

When Adam rebelled against the direct command of God and ate of the tree of knowledge, He lost the nature and glory of God (covering). When God arrived on the scene, Adam admitted they knew they were naked. Adam had also relinquished their rule and authority to Satan. The man's viewpoint had also changed. He now saw the woman as a separate person and named her Eve.

Adam and Eve never lost their status as sons of God, except in their minds, they disagreed with God and no longer claimed to be His children. However, God always saw them as His wayward children (Luke 15:11-32). Please notice that the young man was utterly separated from his father when the idea came to him to ask his father to give him a job as a servant. He now knew that his survival depended on his father feeding, clothing, and sheltering him. But the father was not looking for a new servant (Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher, Helper) as he supposed. Instead, he was looking for his long-lost son to return.

The father immediately reinstated his son by covering him with his robe of righteousness and returning his son's authority by giving him his signet ring. The son returned to his proper place in his home with his family. Moreover, the father made arrangements to feed him abundantly. The power, authority, and things needed for life and Godliness were immediately given to the son when he turned away from the pig pens and returned to the father.

Adam nor his descendants ever lost their position as Sons of God. God is looking for His wayward Sons, not servants, to return to Him. He has fully prepared, through Jesus, the pathway for their return. Complete restoration into the family of God is ready and awaiting our acceptance. We must turn from our life of rebellion and go to him. He still wants a kingdom of sons to rule and reign as Him on earth.

His Sons abide in His house, enjoying His full provision, power, and authority forever. Servants do not stay in the home with the family. Instead, they will live in their quarters, partaking in the Father's presence as He determines to visit them. He provides for them through regular feeding, but they cannot go to the fridge and get what they want when they want.

Whether you agree to receive the Father's will and live as a Son or choose to live as a servant is only a matter of accepting your true identity. God is not keeping you from His constant presence and provision; it is your mindset of being unworthy of being called His Son.

Change your confession of being a sinner saved by grace and begin confessing that you are a Son of God covered by His righteousness and given His power and authority.

Quit identifying yourself as a Christian; God doesn't. Instead, genuinely follow Christ; He will lead you into the Father's household. It is there that you no longer follow Him or God; you have found them and live with them. Accepting the identity that God has provided as His Son will change your life more dramatically than you will ever realize.

Father, I ask you, in the name of your Son, Jesus, to accept me as your child and bring me into your household as a family member. I want the Holy Spirit to teach and train me until I have reached the maturity of you calling me your Son. My heart desires to constantly live with you and receive a daily portion of your wisdom and guidance. Isaiah has revealed that the rule of the Kingdom of God within me is ever expanding. Kingdom living is the life I choose; I receive it now by faith. I thank you with all of my heart. Amen.
