God’s Reset is Coming

Jesus came to reset our thinking about God, our relationship with Him, and our concept of who we are. Adam was and is the son of God (Luke 3:38). God never disinherited Adam when he rebelled against God and chose Satan as his new ruler. In the parable, given by Jesus, of the prodigal son, it is a son the Father is looking to see returning to him (Luke 15:11-32). Jesus came to reveal to us that we have a relationship as a son with Father God. He is watching for our return.
As Adam’s ancestor, if you are a human being, then you are a son of God. God wishes you to return to Him and will cover you with His robe of righteousness and give you His signet ring of power and authority. It is not becoming for you to continue eating with the pigs, consuming the filth of this world. Instead, accept His invitation to enter His home and live as His family eating at His table. He loves you as a son and citizen, not a servant.
God’s idea of who we are is much different than the way most view themselves, especially religious people. Through Jesus, God has revealed His love and the magnitude of His other attributes. But this was only half of the message. Jesus was walking in the dominion God gave Adam. In other words, He was revealing to us who we are. Every time Jesus healed, delivered, or displayed another great work of God, he said, “This is the way I see you. You are supposed to be and live like this.” Jesus said we would do His and even greater works than He had done.
Jesus has completed all the work necessary to walk in everything God has for us. So when will we stop our self-improvement exercises and start believing God’s opinion of us, living and displaying whom He says we are?
From the beginning, God has stated His purposes for our family, business, and personal growth to dominion as kings and priests. He is building a family kingdom capable of creating their wealth from what He had provided. He has given us everything needed for life and godliness, but we must work, plan, scheme, and pray for it and partner with the Holy Spirit to bring all things to fruition.
