Is Satan Your Lord?

Acts 11:26 KJV(26) And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

The disciples received their name and identity from the people at Antioch. It was Satan’s people who gave Christians their identity, not God’s. Accepting this identity means they agreed with Satan and consented to his ownership of us, not God’s. Another name for an owner is Lord; therefore, every time we claim we are Christian, we are confessing Satan as our Lord. You can change your choice of identities at any time. Choose God today.

If you confess you are a child of God and claim God as your Father and Lord of your life, you do well, but do not be double minded. Make either your confession one or the other, but never both.

James 4:7-8 KJV(7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.(8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
