Our Identity

Our identity, who we think we are, is very important especially in the Kingdom of God. Every God given identity carries with it a God given destiny. When we accept and receive Christ, we must also accept God as our Father. One cannot be completed without the other. The identities that God has given us in His kingdom are children and sons. We are born children but becoming a son takes growth and acceptance (Romans 8:14) (Galatians 4:1).

Galatians 4:7 KJV

(7) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

God tells us we must be led by the Spirit of God to become sons and heirs of the kingdom.

When we choose anther identity and do not let ourselves be known as a child or son of God, we are guilty of rebellion against God’s command. The king’s statements are always law or commands. Are you ashamed of being know as His son or child. None of these names were given by God in the Bible. Therefore, none are listed as an heir of the Kingdom of God. I copied these twelve top religions of the world from the internet: Baha'i, Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto, Sikhism, Taoism, and Zoroastrianism.

Luke 9:26 KJV

(26) For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

I choose to be known as a son of God and have the confidence of being an heir of the Kingdom of God. I also have accepted Ambassadorship in His kingdom. His ekklesia or church is made up of Ambassadors so I have the confidence of belonging to His body of believers. Governments are composed of citizens not members.
