Our Profession

Hebrews 3:1 KJV Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Jesus is the priest of our daily profession. What is our daily confession? Do you want that to come to pass the way you spoke it? If you insist long enough, it will. Christ will give you the desires of your heart as evidenced by your life.

Perhaps our lives would improve if we were to change the words of our mouths. Our words have the power of life and death. They can give life to your soul or allow death, the separation from God for your soul. It is your life and your choice, promised by God.

Philippians 4:8 KJV (8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

As our priest, Jesus brings them into our lives when we consistently speak them.
