Our Unshakeable Government (Part 1)

Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV
(6) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
(7) Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
It is crucial to reiterate, saying, "Jesus brought us a government, not a religion. All Kingdoms are governments, although all governments are not kingdoms.
Mark 1:14-15 KJV
(14) Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God,
(15) And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Matthew uses the phrase Kingdom of Heaven when reporting about God's Kingdom. Although slightly different in meaning, they are sometimes interchangeable. The Kingdom of God means the expression or manifestation of God's rule, whereas the Kingdom of Heaven means the area of God's rule. Both, however, refer to the temple of God, the human being.
Luke 17:21 KJV
(21) Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.
Every country is established and has laws as its foundation. The United States is not an exception. Initially, this country established its foundational laws called the Constitution of the United States of America. This is the first paragraph of its Constitution.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Constitutional Law establishes the country and ensures its future. It also introduces a very elemental concept. Following the laws solidifies the country, whereas breaking the laws destroys the country because the Law is the country's foundation. When its foundation breaks up, the country disintegrates and soon falls. This concept is valid for all countries, including the Kingdom of God.
After establishing the Kingdom of God in the hearts of believers on the day of Pentecost and writing the laws of that Kingdom in their hearts, He wrote the rights and rules governing Himself and His people in the New Testament of the Bible.
The disciple Matthew gives a beautiful description of the transfer of God's Kingdom with its authority and power to us.
Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
(28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
(30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
As King, the yoke He carried was the rule of the Kingdom of God. It was the Father's good pleasure to give us that rule (Luke 12:32).
Revelation 5:9-10 KJV
(9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
(10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Because our God has made us Kings, we have every right to accept and walk in the Kingdom rule He has given us. Do not run off and try to take over the world, nor even minister as Jesus did until you have completed your Kingly training. All Kings must endure discipline and training before being promoted to full authority.
The laws of the Kingdom of God, as given to us in its Constitution, are as follows:
Matthew 22:37-40 KJV
(37) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
(38) This is the first and great commandment.
(39) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Jesus later added a third commandment for His disciples.
John 13:34 KJV
(34) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
God has also given us His love, which is necessary to keep these commandments.
Romans 5:5 KJV
(5) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Keeping these commandments will fulfill the law and His righteousness in our lives. The first assignment as Kings and priests is to keep the laws of God, not to please God, but to establish the Kingdom of God in our hearts until it becomes unshakeable. Every violation weakens the Kingdom in us, and every obedience strengthens its foundation. Keeping the commandments of God is about building His Kingdom within us. Because it is God's original and ongoing intention to build His Kingdom on the earth, He, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit will join in partnership with you in using the love of God to fulfill the law. You are not alone in this endeavor. All things are possible with God, even establishing His Kingdom within you.
In Luke 19:12-27, Jesus tells us a parable about building the Kingdom of God. I believe it applies to our present discussion. He gave each of us a measure of the love of God so that we could build and permanently establish the Kingdom of God within us. Upon His return, He rewards us according to our faithfulness in using our investment. As our reward, He will give us much authority.
