Hebrews 12:27-29 KJV
(27) And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
(28) Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
(29) For our God is a consuming fire.
Our soul is our mind, conscious and subconscious, will, and emotions. The salvation of our souls comes about through our partnership with the Godhead. We must learn to work with them to accomplish the purposes of God in our lives. Believing God is our work, but we never do it alone. We will never fail if we keep God in our picture and never quit. Renewing and transforming our minds results in the salvation of our souls by conforming our thinking to the mind of Christ.
To understand this statement of mine a little more, we must know that when God uses the word heart in the Bible, He refers to the subconscious mind. Heart means the heart or most profound part of the mind, according to the Strong's Concordance.
Every promise of God through Jesus has been fulfilled and must be recognized, believed, received, and implemented in our lives. We do not have to wait for God to do anything else. He has also included our promotion for faithful service.
I need to repeat some background information that we will find necessary to understand what God is trying to tell us.
Genesis 2:18 KJV
(18) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Genesis 2:21-25 KJV
(21) And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
(22) And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
(23) And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24) Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
(25) And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Genesis 5:2 KJV(2) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
I want to emphasize a few points from the scriptures above. Although we refer to the woman as His wife, God refers to her as a help meet, aid, and helper. Adam prophesizes about the couple and describes them as one person, but in verse 5:2, God tells His view of the couple. He views them as spiritually one and calls them both by the same name, Adam.
I would use an apple to describe further what God is talking about. If we were to take an apple and divide it into two pieces, one large and one small piece, we would still have only one apple with two different expressions. We would never call one an apple and the other piece an orange. Both of them would still retain one hundred percent of the nature of an apple, so we regard them as one apple. Because God had taken the woman from Adam, He had divided Adam into two expressions and still referred to them as one person. I go into detail here because God later tells us in Ephesians that Adam was talking about the Ekklesia.
Ephesians 5:30-32 KJV
(30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
(31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
(32) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
In Paul's letter to the Ekklesia at Ephesus, He describes the events immediately after Jesus died on the cross and the Father resurrected Him.
Ephesians 2:6 KJV
(6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
In this verse, Paul tells us that we were seated with Christ in Heavenly place but not beside Christ. We were in Him. When God was looking for a suitable helper for Adam, He could not find one, so He removed Adam's helper from within Him.
Romans 6:6 KJV
(6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
God removed the old-man (sinner) from humanity and placed every one of them In Jesus when He was crucified. However, He found a suitable replacement in Christ Jesus. While Jesus still slept in death, God replaced man's old sinful Spirit with the Spirit of the Word of God. This Spirit could not sin because it was the Spirit of God. The Apostle Paul and John confirm this conclusion in the following two verses.
Galatians 2:20 KJV
(20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
1 John 3:9 KJV
(9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
We need only believe what God has done for us. We have been reborn by the Spirit of God and became a brand-new creation through the death of Jesus. Every one of us was born the helpmeet of Christ, and it is our place to learn of this great gift of God, believe it, receive it, and learn to walk in it. Working out our salvation is renewing our minds, will, and emotions in partnership with the Godhead to agree with our born-again spirit.
Looking at the current events in the Kingdom of England, we will gain insight into how God's Kingdom functions. When King Philip passed away, Queen Elizabeth carried His name with its power and authority until she passed away. When Christ left this earth through death, the helpmeet of Christ, the Ekklesia, carries His name and the power and authority associated with His name. She will do that until her death, when she again comes into the presence of her husband.
As the helpmeet of Jesus, I think the people will one day call her Emmanuel when she comes into her full reigning maturity, but that is just my opinion. God has not told me that info. She is the carrier of God's unshakeable Kingdom.
