Prayer for the World

Father, I bow before you bringing only a broken heart and the name of Jesus. I ask you to have mercy on your people and release a massive outflowing of the spirit of the fear of God upon the world today. I ask for a tidal wave of fear that will send people rushing with great violence to enter your sanctuary, the Kingdom of God. I ask for a massive wave of Godly fear that will stop religion in its tracks and destroy that ungodliness. I ask for an enormous wave of godly fear that will bring dread into every heart of being separated from God. I ask for a massive wave of Godly fear that will sweep away the pride and smugness of the desire to escape the conflict and drive people to join the battle with the armor of God secured and hearts blazing for justice. Impart the fear that will drive cowardice from the hearts of your people and inflame their warrior spirits for God’s righteousness. So grant it, Lord, so that your people might live and not die, be blessed and not cursed, and filled with your peace and joy. I thank you, in the name of Jesus the Christ, amen.
