Relationship vs. Knowledge

Knowledge is neither a substitute for a personal relationship nor a guarantee that a relationship exists. Sometimes knowledge can destroy relations with others. For example, the broken connection of a life-giving relationship resulted from Adam’s consumption of knowledge.

When the ekklesia gathers, it should not be for dispensing or receiving good or evil knowledge. Instead, we should be practicing our corporate relationship. The same is true in our personal lives. So out of the tree and onto your knees would make a good guideline for our healthy spiritual life.
